Upcoming Council Meeting
HORRY COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 6:00PM

Dear Myrtle Tracers,

On behalf of your MTHOA Board of Directors I want to thank each one of you for all that you did to help us with the hearing that was held on January 16. We could not have done it without your assistance. As you know the results of that hearing and the first vote by Council were strongly in our favor. However, that was only round one. We have just begun. There are two more votes to be taken, one on February 6 and another on February 20. We MUST show the same kind of support and determination at those two meetings as we did at the last one. We need to fill the Council Chambers, overflow the Overflow Rooms, and make certain that there is standing room only in the hallways. We can only do that if you impress upon your friends and neighbors the importance of the next two meetings. Talk to the folks on your street, visit neighbors in your Phase, and make some telephone calls to those friends that you don’t see real often.

In addition to this email a large portion of the next News and Views will be devoted to the gate issue, flyers will be distributed prior to the meeting, and a new Myrtle Trace web site that is under construction has information on it. You can access that web site on the internet at myrtletracesc.org. We will do our very best to get our message to the Council members but we must have your help. If you wish to contact individual members of the Council you can find names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses at the Horry County web site: horrycounty.org.

Your continued support is essential.

Bill Fox, President MTHOA
